Going to bed hungry.

It's been a while since I've done that...gone to bed hungry. The feeling is familiar, an old friend; but it is going to take some time for us to get reacquainted. I love that feeling, it's safe, it means I'm getting smaller. But I've been shoveling food down my throat for so long, I've almost forgotten how good it feels.

Yay!! New followers! So excited, thanks again for deciding to follow me :) Anyways, yesterday was successful food wise, I stayed below my 900 cal restriction. I really need to get a scale though. I've been looking at scales online and they aren't cheap, but I know I need to get one if I'm going to do this. That feeling of waking up hungry and excited to weigh myself and see that number go down is what keeps me going a lot of the time. And I've decided that when I get a scale and officially weigh in, I'm going to take some 'before' pictures. I haven't decided if I'm going to post them right away, or wait until I have some progress pics to post with them..hmm.

Today is going to be a boring day. Homework, homework, and more homework. On Tuesday I'm going home for 5 days, so I want to get everything done before I go. I don't know if it's gonna happen. Speaking of going home, its going to be impossible to stick to 900 cal when I'm with my family. I'm not going to stress about it though because there is really nothing I can do. And when I get back I can restrict as much as I want until I go home for the summer in about 6 months. I have a bunch of family dinners I have to go to and I'm just going to try and do my best; not finish whats put on my plate, turn down dessert, that kind of thing.

B: Slept through it :)
L: Salad (220 cal)
Pita and hummus (178 cal)
D: Whole wheat vegetarian lasagna (500 cal)

T: 898 cal

Today my inspiration is high fashion model and Victoria's Secret beauty, Chanel Iman. Best of both worlds in my opinion.

It's weird because I was in the 150's kinda recently but it still seems soooooo far away!

  3. hey, I`m Kaylie! SO excited for your blog! Id buy a scale that measures weight as well as Body Fat (in pounds and percent), water weight, and bone mass. That way you won`t have to wonder if it`s just water weight gain-- you`ll know! They`re definitely a bit more expensive, but 100% worth it in my opinion!

Also, with your family, could you just tell your mom you`re going on a diet to get rid of/ prevent freshman 15? If your parents are used to you being smaller in highschool they might be totally supportive! Otherwise, try to just eat the meat and veggies in the meal :)

Good luck & Stay strong! xo

  4. I agree, prevention of the 'freshman 15' is a good idea to use with your parents. Just eat really slowly, talk alot, and be cheerful. Chances are, if you don't have a public history of an ED you'll be fine :)
Like the blog alot so far, by the way.
